In addition to the countless large murals to smaller street art works around the factory halls and buildings of the industrial complex at Telliskivi Loomelinnak, or in English “Creative City”, there are also some backyards where graffiti in particular can be found. Apart from creative offices, galleries and buisnesses, the place is one big urban art museum and many walls are covered with great artworks, from small graffiti to huge murals. As a whole the entire Kalamaja neighbourhood is an artists’ quarter and has paint on the walls from top to bottom. Here is especially a collection of the graffiti in the backyards besides the regualr festivals. Due to the big amount of photo material, we have divided the area into several pages. More works can be found on the Telliskivi Loomelinnak main page, on the page for the MaEiSaaAru art festival in 2021 and on the page for the graffiti jam BALTIC SESSION in 2013. The first photos are from a visit in July 2019, more were added by the world explorers Thomas Adventurer and Diana Beekvelt, also known as NOMADS ON WHEELS in August 2023. They have been traveling around Estonia with their VW LT28 van at that time.
